Position: Head of Construction Department – Oil & Gas Projects
Location: Oman (Sohar area)
Monthly Salary: USD 3,800
Contract Type: Long-term project contract (36 months, renewable), full-time onsite (6 days/week, 10 hours/day)
Work Visa: Employer-sponsored work visa and residency permit; all relocation and residency procedures facilitated for international staff
Experience & Education
- Minimum 15 years of experience in large-scale oil and gas construction projects, including at least 3 years in departmental management with EPC responsibilities
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical or engineering discipline
Skills & Responsibilities
- Full management of all aspects of complex construction project phases: planning, preparation, and execution
- Deep knowledge of design standards, engineering codes, and safety regulations for large-scale projects, especially offshore and onshore facilities
- Extensive understanding of offshore gas facilities, platforms, and yard operations
- Experience with sour gas and LNG facilities and risk management related to such projects
- Proven record of managing EPC contractors and construction teams to deliver projects on time and within budget
- Strong leadership skills with a commitment to safety culture and excellent safety performance in previous projects
